"Always "Hoppy" at T.J Finley's T.J Finley's is a real pub for real beer drinkers. If you are a genuine beer enthusiast you will love this place. They stand true to their "No Crap On Tap" motto and very often will have beer samplings to introduce new, respectable beers to those who appreciate them. You mainly go for the beer, but the pub menu is by far better than most regular pub food. All their food is made with beer as well. My personal favorite is their Stout Chile. All their food has beer suggestions listed next to them so you can match you brew with your food. There is also a "Cheers" quality to the bar where all the staff get to know the names of their regulars and are all super outgoing and nice."

"Games on Tap, Along With the Beer On a quiet Sunday afternoon on East Main Street here, a raucous cheer erupted from the open door of T. J. Finley’s Public House, followed by hoots and laughter. “I can hear you way down the street,” Janine Goetz, 23, of Islip, shouted over the din as she entered the pub. The Jets game was on two of six screens above the bar, where the crowd was five or six deep. Small groups of young people at several booths watched additional televisions tuned to N.F.L. games across the country. “Sunday is a sports day,” Ms. Goetz said. “I come every Sunday to watch the game and hang out.” At T. J. Finley’s, established in 2006, the beer-marinated steak sandwich is king. “People come here just for that sandwich,” said Jason Janawsky, the owner. The skirt steak is grilled, topped with melted mozzarella cheese and served on a toasted garlic baguette with onion rings and fries. Other offerings include Bavarian fondue, a mix of bock beer and melted Brie, served with pieces of soft pretzel for dipping; and a chicken wrap sandwich dressed with cherry wheat beer aioli and caramelized onions.
